The dream of my life Is to lie down by a slow river And stare at the light in the trees To learn something by being nothing A little while But the rich Lens of attention. –Mary Oliver, Entering the Kingdom
True Nature with Tuesday and Marc is an opportunity to explore how Scaravelli-inspired yoga deepens our awareness of the relationships between body and ground, breath and space, movement and stillness.
Immerse yourself in this unique approach to appreciate the benefits of a slower pace and more natural rhythm of life. As you come home to your true nature, you notice how your yoga practice, meditation and relaxation are enhanced by the combination of Lagoon Retreat’s natural surroundings, healthy home-cooked food, like-minded company and time to just be.
The daily schedule of morning and late afternoon classes gives you plenty of time to relax by the pool, walk to the lagoon, snooze in the kursk, read in the salon or explore the local beaches.
Tuesday teaches a guided practice in the morning (8.00 – 9.30). Marc’s session in the afternoon (5.00 – 7.00) is a workshop, exploring themes from the morning class.
There is a free day, when a group outing is organised, usually a boat trip but other options are available such as a visit to the Turkish Baths or to historical sites.
Tuesday McNeill and Marc J Acquaviva love sharing their yoga in the unique and enchanting Lagoon Retreat and hope that the combination of their approaches to teaching and practice leave you feeling nourished, nurtured, refreshed and inspired – a truly magical experience that stays with you long after you return home.
Tuesday McNeill has been teaching for more than 30 years and her open-hearted, down-to-earth approach makes yoga accessible to everyone. Her classes encourage a spirit of enquiry, combining an embodied asana practice with an exploration of yoga’s potential for deepening awareness and how this applies to life beyond the mat.
Marc J Acquaviva has more than 40 years’ experience of yoga. He has developed a unique approach to teaching through a deep commitment to his own practice and self-enquiry. He guides students to develop a relationship with body, ground, breath and space that allows a whole-hearted, embodied experience of yoga. In this way, it becomes a real, practical tool for personal evolution.
